The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is aĀ set of European Union regulations which came into force on 25 May 2018. ItĀ changed how organisations process and handle data, with the ultimate aim of giving greater protection and rights to individuals, including our members.

LGSS PensionsĀ have procedures in place which comply with similar data protection principles under the Data Protection Act 1998. The GDPRĀ reinforce the existing requirements, and members did not notice a change in the service they receive from either the Cambridgeshire or Northamptonshire Pension Fund, for whom LGSS Pensions administer.
